Q1. Why do I need a Generating Set?

A1. Three main reasons are:

a) There is no other source of electricity available.

b) There is not enough capacity from the commercial supplier to meet my requirements.

c) An alternate source of electrical power is necessary when the periodic or sustained loss of Commercial power would cause an economic loss, a loss of ambient quality together with:

i - In Hospitals - a loss of patient monitoring and/or life support. in Data Centers.

ii - In Data Centers. a loss in data processing and some data.

iii - In Offices and Accommodation Buildings - a loss in power, lighting and lifts.

iv - In Processing Plants - loss of production, raw material and/or product.

v - In Live Stock Husbandry - loss of production, live stock and/or product.
